OFFSEASON FOOTBALL PROGRAM TAKING PLACE NOW

Now through June we will work with football players to increase both size and speed.

Starting in July we will work with Middle School and High School Football players to condition themselves for the upcoming football season.

To participate in the MPT Sports Specific Training program you MUST have 2 things:

1) A desire to win.  You must want to feel the thrill of winning more than anything else.  You have to envision yourself smiling ear to ear as 0:00 shows on the clock at the end of the game.  You must want to experience that feeling more than any other temptation that reaches you right now.

2) You must want to have fun in the process.  Winning is not the most important thing, it is the only thing!  With that being said, why win if you don't have fun doing it?  At MPT, we want to athlete who is serious about their athletic goals, but at the same time, want to enjoy their experience.  Of course you know that to enjoy your sport to your highest potential you have to win!

What Do the MPT Sport Specific Training Programs Accomplish?

The goal of the MPT Sport Specific Training Programs is simply to help San Antonio athletes get better at their sport.

How Do We Accomplish this Goal? 

We accomplish this goal by grouping athletes together (who are willing to push themselves beyond their limits and not miss a workout) and putting them through 12 weeks of rigorous workouts that are specifically designed to help them improve in their sport.

If you are wondering what the MPT Sport Specific Training Programs entail, then read on...

MPT's Sports Specific Training Programs are run by athletes or former athletes that have a personal training certification and/or a degree in an exercise related field.

These instructors will design workouts specific to the goals of the athletes in that session.  So, if you are a San Antonio football player you will be a part of a group of up to 4 football players (who we have determined possess equal or greater work ethic levels as you) and your instructor will have a workout plan that will make you a better football player.

Each workout will be 1 hour in length and you will meet 4 days per week (M,T,W,Th).  Each workout that you conduct at MPT will be different to help confuse your muscles and make you a better athlete.  Each workout will be a combination of resitance, cardio and agility training.  The breakdown of each workout will vary depending on your sports physical demands.

The workouts you go through at MPT will be difficult and very intense, but it will be something that you will be able to finish and when you do, it will make you a better athlete.

What sports does MPT have programs for?

MPT has sports specific training programs for 6 different sports:

  1. Baseball
  2. Basketball
  3. Football
  4. Soccer
  5. Softball
  6. Wrestling

We are willing to create Sport Specific Training Programs for other sports if there is a group of 4 athletes who we determine to have enough heart and work ethic to push hard enough to achieve significant results.

What ages participate in MPT's Sport Specific Training Programs?

MPT trains athletes of various ages including:

  • San Antonio Middle School Athletes
  • San Antonio High School Athletes
  • Post High School Athletes looking to compete in Collegiate Athletics

Where do the MPT Sport Specific Training Sessions take place?

MPT's Sport Specific Training Programs will be conducted at Motivational Personal Training's Fitness Studio located at 2235 Thousand Oaks Dr #105 in San Antonio, TX.
